Aeration
Core Aeration is a good way to relieve soil
compaction in your lawn. It helps control thatch
build-up and offers new root development.
The large aeration machine removes 1" cores
from your lawn and lays them on top of your turf.
These cores will break down over time due to rainfall and
lawn mowing. The holes that have
been created allow fertilizer and water to get
deeper to the root system and relieves pressure
from compacted soil. Regular core aerations are
beneficial to keep thatch from building up by
speeding up the natural decomposition of old
thatch. Lawn Medic offers core aerations in the
spring and fall.
